Every spring for a number of years now a group of local artists -- not the same group as those of The Market Gallery, but with overlaps -- holds an Open Studios Tour, www.openstudiosofroanoke.com, at artist’s studios around Roanoke. The Tour has become something of a local seasonal institution. As I live out of town, I show at the location of fellow artist, Mary Jane Burtch, and, since the weather is usually fine, I am fortunate to have the out of doors venue, out of doors venue, along a streamlet that runs behind Mary Jane’s house and studio.
